Abstract:
The present invention provides a refrigerator which can remind a user about a situation that the door of an upper storage apartment is opened in a state that doors of a plurality of storage compartments such as refrigerating compartments and freezing compartments are opened, even if the different plurality of storage compartments are separated, and therefore safety considerations can be made. Therefrigerator includes a main body; a plurality of storage compartments having doors and disposed in the main body; a vegetable compartment illumination unit that is configured as a door of a refrigerating compartment that is a storage compartment located at an upper side position, and that, as the illumination unit, illuminates other storage compartments such as a vegetable compartment, lower thanthe storage compartment located at an upper side position; and a control unit which can give a notification through changing the illumination state of the vegetable compartment when the door of a lower refrigerating compartment is opened in a state that the door of an upper refrigerating compartment is opened.
