Abstract:
To provide a refrigerator in which deformation of an outer box body is restrained at low cost.SOLUTION: A refrigerator 1A comprises: an outer box body 21 comprising a machine room 200 formed on a lower side of a refrigerating room, and opened on a back side and a bottom side; a box-shaped back member 22 located closer to an upper side than the machine room 200 and closer to the back side than the refrigerating room, covering a back portion of the outer box body 21, and inside which a heat insulating material is housed; a base plate 24 on which mechanical components housed in the machine room 200 are placed, and extending from the bottom side of the outer box body 21 to the back side of the outer box body 21 and the lower side of the back member 22; a reinforcing member 30 provided in the machine room 200, extending in a vertical direction from an upper surface of the base plate 24, supporting a ceiling of the machine room 200, and in contact with a side wall of the machine room 200; and a connecting member 40 comprising a vertical plate 41 in contact with a back surface of the reinforcing member 30, and fixed to the reinforcing member 30, and a horizontal plate 42 extending on the back side along the upper surface of the base plate 24, and fixed to the base plate 24, and connecting the reinforcing member 30 and the base plate 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
