Abstract:
Provided is a regenerating method for used polishing slurry that can sufficiently crush solid content generated by way of centrifugal separation of used polishing slurry, and can thereby suppress damage from occurring to a glass substrate during the polishing process. One embodiment of the present invention is a regenerating method for used polishing slurry containing abrasive particles used in the polishing process for glass substrates, wherein the method comprises a step of forming a mixture by adding a saccharide to the used polishing slurry, a step of removing at least a portion of the glass component contained in the mixture by centrifugal separation of the mixture, and a step of crushing the solid content obtained by the centrifugal separation.
