PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a residual yarn removal system capable of surely removing a residual yarn of a feeding bobbin, regardless of a kind of the yarn and a yarn residual amount.SOLUTION: A residual yarn removal system comprises: a grip claw 67; an air cylinder 40; and an operation control part. The air cylinder 40 moves the grip claw 67 along a longitudinal direction of a yarn feeding bobbin, in a state that the grip claw 67 grips the yarn feeding bobbin, for removing a residual yarn 5b. The operation control part controls the air cylinder 40 for moving the grip claw 67, and stops the grip claw 67 at a sensor non-detection position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
