To provide a snow and ice removal net capable of manually easily removing the ice frozen on the windshield glass of an automobile or the snow fallen thereon, and the snow fallen on the roof of the automobile or the roof of a building.

Snow and ice removal nets 13, 14 have respective sizes enough to cover the windshield glass 11 of the automobile 10 or the roof 12. The peripheral edge sections of the nets are secured to the automobile 10 by means of fixing devices 15, 16. The snow and ice removal nets 13, 14 are made by forming a flexible wire material 30 in a flat lattice shape. Handles 13a, 14a formed of a string member are attached to the ends of the nets. When the windshield glass 11 and the roof 12 is covered by ice or snow, the peripheral edge sections of the nets 13, 14 are disconnected from the fixing devices 15, 16, and the handles 13a, 14b of the nets 13, 14 are pulled in the in-plane directions X, Y to slide the nets 13, 14. Consequently, the snow and ice covering the automobile 10 can be removed together with the nets 13, 14.
