Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reducing a need for customizing a repairing joint for covering a curved portion occurred to a leakage joint according to a curve angle.SOLUTION: An intersection angle is set to fall within a predetermined tolerance value compared to a curve angle of the pipe to be repaired, the intersection angle being formed between right-left pipes as a result of an assembly of a housing of a repairing joint 10. A seal ring receiving part is provided to an inner-diameter side of a divided end surface of each of the housings. When assembling the divided housing, a seal ring holder is formed of the seal ring receiving part and an outer peripheral surface of a repairing pipe facing to the seal ring receiving part. The seal ring holder includes elastic seal rings 31, 32 of a wedge-like cross-section, the seal rings having a seal-pressurizing groove on at least one of a wedge-like slope and a seal abutting surface for increasing a liquid-sealing pressure by a fastening force and an inner sealing liquid pressure in a pipe axial direction. Two seal rings are arranged in the seal ring holder so as to face in the pipe axial direction while abutting against the wedge-like slope.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
