PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resonance suppression device capable of suppressing a resonance phenomenon of an entire system and a resonance phenomenon that is generated by each of power facilities in a subsidiary manner, and a resonance suppression method.SOLUTION: A current command value generation part 130 generates a current command value by subtracting a voltage term that is calculated by multiplying a harmonic component Vof a measured system voltage Vby a second transfer function (K), and adding a current term that is calculated by multiplying a harmonic component of a current Isupplied from a power facility at a side including a resonance point by a first transfer function (K), by an adder 230. The generated current command value is inputted to a power conversion device and a compensation current is outputted from the power conversion device to a power system, thereby suppressing resonance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
