Abstract:
A rice cooker considers the ease of opening and closing of a lid and the sealing property of a pot in the rice cooker. The rice cooker has a pot and a lid. The pot includes a pot body and a flange portion. The lid includes an outer cover, an inner cover, and a sealing member. The sealing member includes a first annular portion, a second annular portion, and a first sealing portion. The first annular portion is disposed to extend from a position inside an inner circumferential surface of an opening of the pot body to an abutting portion when the lid is in a closed state. The second annular portion is configured to extend from the abutting portion to the bottom of the pot toward the inner side of the pot in the closed state. The first seal portion has an annular shape, and in the open state,the shape of the ring is smaller than a shape in which the inner circumferential surface of the opening of the pot body is projected in the vertical direction. When the first sealing portion is disposed on a portion of the second annular portion and the bottom side of the pot in the closed state, and the first sealing portion is rotated by the first annular portion and the second annular portionwith the abutting portion as a fulcrum to enlarge the diameter to be pressed against the inner circumferential surface of the pot body.
