Abstract:
To provide a rice cooker for facilitating setting of reservation rice cooking to complete rice cooking at a time desired by a user while suppressing deterioration of eating quality of cooked rice.SOLUTION: A rice cooker includes: an inner pot for storing rice to be cooked; a heating section for heating the inner pot; an operation section to be operated by a user to set a cooking finish time of rice to be cooked; and a control section having a storage section for storing multiple rice cooking modes in a state where a rough rice cooking time is associated with each rice cooking mode, so as to control the heating section in one of the multiple rice cooking modes. The control section selects a rice cooking mode from the multiple rice cooking modes based on a cooking finish time set via the operation section and rough rice cooking times of the multiple rice cooking modes stored in the storage section, and then controls the heating section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
