Abstract:
To provide a rice cooker capable of reducing rice cracking caused when washing rice automatically and reliably executing desired rice washing.SOLUTION: A rice cooker includes a container for accommodating rice and water, a water supply part for supplying water to the inside of the container, a rice supply part for supplying rice to the inside of the container, an agitator that can move vertically inside the container, and a control part for controlling operations of the water supply part, the rice supply part, and the agitator. The control part controls the agitator so that it moves between an initial position, which is an upper position in the container, and a rice washing position, which is a lower position in the container, and is configured so as to move the agitator from the initial position to the rice washing position before the supply of rice by the rice supply part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
