Abstract:
To facilitate execution of rice polishing operations by using a general-purpose card.SOLUTION: A rice polishing installation receives introduction of unpolished rice, selects an arbitrary degree of polishing with a polishing degree selection switch (12), and executes rice polishing operations, and comprises: a fee slot (13) for receiving cash; a card reader (100) that reads card information; and a control unit (30) that recognizes the card information. The card information includes points for executing the rice polishing operations. The rice polishing operations can be executed for the amount of money paid or time corresponding to the points. The rice polishing installation is provided with an unpolished rice presence/absence detection sensor (31) that detects that the amount of introduced unpolished rice becomes equal to or less than a predetermined amount. During the operation time with a card, when the unpolished rice presence/absence detection sensor (31) detects that the amount becomes equal to or less than a predetermined amount, the rice polishing installation stores the remaining time in the card information, and can use the stored remaining time in the next rice polishing operations.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 19
