Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which can cause a robot hand to perform as many kinds of work as possible or a technology which can enhance the versatility of a work object even with the same work.SOLUTION: A robot hand 10 comprises at least one chain 12. In the chain 12, a plurality of joint units 50 can change their postures spirally and are joined in chain so that diameter of the spiral is changeable. As such a robot hand 10, for example, a pair of adjacent joint units 50 among the plurality of joint units 50 can relatively rotate around a first axis set in a direction parallel to the direction in which they are arranged side by side and a second axis set in the direction crossing the first axis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 22
