Abstract:
To provide a robot system effective for transporting a workpiece with high efficiency.SOLUTION: A robot system 1 includes: a first transportation device 10 that transports a workpiece to a first position P1 along a transportation line 11; a second transportation device 20 that transports the workpiece from a second position P2 adjacent to the first position P1 along a first line 14 perpendicular to the transportation line 11; and a robot 30. The robot 30 includes: a base part 31 that lifts up and down an arm base 32 at a fixation position P4 away from the first line 14 in a transportation direction of the workpiece W by the first transportation device 10; a first arm 33 that rotates around a vertical first axial line 41; a second arm 34 that rotates around a vertical second axial line 42; an arm distal end part 35 that rotates around a vertical third axial line 43; and a workpiece holding part 36 that holds the workpiece from above in a lower part of the arm distal end part 35.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
