Abstract:
To provide a robot cleaner and a floor surface sterilizing robot capable of suppressing deterioration and color change of a floor surface by ultraviolet light irradiation onto the floor surface.SOLUTION: The robot cleaner includes a robot cleaner body 2 for cleaning a floor surface while self-travelling, and a terminal device 3 configured so as to communicate with the robot cleaner body 2, capable of setting a cleaning region where cleaning is executed by the robot cleaner body 2. The robot cleaner body 2 includes a light source 25 composed of a light emitting diode for irradiating the floor surface with ultraviolet light. The terminal device 3 is configured so as to set, in the cleaning region, an irradiation region where ultraviolet light is emitted by the light source 25 and a non-irradiation region where ultraviolet light is not emitted by the light source 25, and configured so as to set irradiation intensity of the ultraviolet light in the irradiation region. The robot cleaner body 2 includes a light source control unit 266 for controlling the light source 25 so as to execute irradiation of ultraviolet light by the light source 25 with the set irradiation intensity in the irradiation region only according to the setting at the terminal device 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
