Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot control system capable of measuring a distance between a robot and portable wireless operation panel, giving an alarm to an operator when the distance is increased, stopping the robot when the distance is increased, and thus upgrading safety.SOLUTION: A robot control system in accordance with the present invention includes a control console that controls a machine, a portable wireless operation panel that can wirelessly communicate with the control console and is used to operate the machine, a distance measurement unit that measures a distance between the machine and the portable wireless operation panel, and an alarm generation unit that gives an alarm to an operator when the distance between the machine and the portable wireless operation panel exceeds a predetermined threshold or stops the machine.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
