Abstract:
The present invention provides a roll management apparatus capable of determining a rolling roll state based on information of the past rolling roll state and suggesting an application method for the rolling roll. The roll management apparatus comprises: a data collection unit which collects physical quantity data and rolling application condition data for a plurality of rolling rolls during rolling; a data storage unit which accumulates the physical quantity data and rolling application state data collected by the data collection unit up to the previous rolling; a state determination unit which reads the related physical quantities for the rolling application condition data accumulated in the data storage unit, which is identical or similar to the rolling application condition data of a specific rolling roll used in rolling, and determines a state of the specific rolling roll based on the related physical quantities; and a recommended application method determination unit which suggests a recommended application method for the specific rolling roll based on the state of the specific rolling roll determined by the state determination unit.
