Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller unit in which plural drive rollers are detachably attached to a conveyor frame on a conveyor body side, thereby enabling configuration of a roller conveyor at a low cost without replacing the whole conveyor.SOLUTION: A roller unit 20 has plural drive rollers 24 which can configure a part of a roller conveyor 10, a drive motor 26, and a power transmission device 28 which transmits an output of the drive roller 26 to the drive roller 24. The roller unit has a sub side frame 22 equipped with upper and lower channels 30, 31 which store the power transmission device 28 therein. A rotary shaft 24A of the drive roller 24 is rotatably supported by a bearing 32 attached to the sub side frame 22 and is projected to one side of the sub side frame 22 in a convey width direction. The drive motor 26 is supported on a motor fitting face 34 of the sub side frame 22 in the state that an output shaft 26A thereof is projected into the upper and lower channels 30, 31, and can be attached to and detached from upper parts of a pair of left and right side frames 12A, 12B of the roller conveyor 10 independently.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
