Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling device for a vehicle which can improve rigidity while suppressing an increase of rotation torque.SOLUTION: A hub unit 1 includes: an outside raceway member 11; a hub shaft 3 (large-diameter part 9) and an inner ring 12; rolling bodies 14a, 14b which are arranged between the outside raceway member 11 and the hub shaft 3 (large-diameter part 9) and the inner ring 12; and grease G arranged at outside raceways 11a, 11b and inside raceways 13a, 13b. A gap between and among the outside raceways 11a, 11b, the inside raceways 13a, 13b and the rolling bodies 14a, 14b is set as a negative gap, the grease G contains synthetic oil as base oil, the dynamic viscosity of the base oil is 20 to 50 mm/s, and an additive contains a phosphorus-based compound, a calcium-based compound, and hydrocarbon wax.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
