Abstract:
To provide a novel rotary engine which can effectively reduce a loss of a rotation output, and can obtain a high output.SOLUTION: In a rotor 3 arranged in a rotor housing 2, base end sides of first to fourth slide plates 101...104 are turnably connected to tips of first to fourth turnable turning members 7...10 having protrusions, respectively, and first to fourth slide openings 31a...31d in which the first to fourth slide plates slide are formed at the rotor. Also, by forming endless guide grooves 24c, 24d in which the protrusions are guided at an upper lid 24 or a lower lid 25 for blocking the inside of the rotor housing, the first to fourth slide plates are slidably operated in an internal peripheral face direction and an output axial direction of the rotor housing by turning operation of the first to fourth turning members which operate in response to shapes of the endless guide grooves.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 18
