Abstract:
To suppress two-stage combustion of a rotary engine.SOLUTION: In a rotary engine, fuel injection start timing is set within a range from 60° before a bottom dead center of an intake stroke to 60° after the bottom dead center; an injector 21 is arranged within a range of -10° to +20° in a rotation direction of a rotor 2 at an angle centered on an axial core of an eccentric shaft with a long axis of a rotor housing as a reference line; the volume of a leading side recess part 7a of a recess 7 on the outer peripheral surface of the rotor 2 is made larger than the volume of a trailing side recess part 7b; and injected fuel of the injector 21 is directed to the leading side recess part 7a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
