Abstract:
To provide a web press which can stabilize reference point alignment accuracy.SOLUTION: A web press 1 comprises: a conveyance device which conveys a web-like sheet W; a plurality of printers; a plurality of sensors which detects a reference point mark M1 printed on the sheet W; and a control device 15. The plurality of printers is located so as to be side by side at an arbitrary interval on a conveyance path, and a plate having a reference point mark printing part 8a is attached to each plate cylinder with a plate cylinder reference point X of the plate cylinder of the printer as a reference. The plurality of sensors is located so as to be apart by a prescribed distance on the downstream side in the conveyance direction of the sheet W from an axial line P of the plate cylinder for each printer. The control device 15 calculates for each printer a plate reference point Y with respect to the plate cylinder reference point X based on a distance to the sensor from the axial line P of the plate cylinder of the printer and a conveyance amount of the sheet W conveyed by a feeding roller 3 until the sensors detect the reference point mark M1 printed on a base material by the plate attached to the plate cylinder.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
