Title:
A rotating machine and a manufacturing method for the same
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP6269601
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating machine in which a nonmagnetic part is formed in a part of a yoke.SOLUTION: A rotating machine includes a stator and a rotor that rotates relative to the stator. The stator or the rotor has a yoke constituting a magnetic circuit. The yoke has a soft magnetic portion made of pure iron or an iron alloy, and a nonmagnetic portion having a saturation magnetization smaller than that of the soft magnetic portion. In the rotating machine, the nonmagnetic portion has an austenite phase formed by solid solution of nitrogen (N). The nonmagnetic portion can be obtained, for example, by irradiating a surface part of the electromagnetic steel sheet with a high energy beam while relatively moving the high energy beam. This high energy beam is, for example, a near ultraviolet nanosecond pulsed laser having a short wavelength in the near ultraviolet region and a pulse width of 10ps to 100ns. By modifying a part of the yoke made of soft magnetic material to be non-magnetic, a degree of freedom in designing the magnetic circuit of the rotating machine is increased, and output and efficiency of the rotating machine can be improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
