Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce communication delay.SOLUTION: Each router measures time (response time) until reception of a response message after transmission of a message to a VM(B) 40b, and transfers the measured response time to another router. A router 4 at which transfer information finally arrives selects a router 14 whose response time is smallest, and instructs the selected router 14 to put a router advertisement (Router Advertisement) of ICMPv6 in the VM(B) 40b. Receiving the router advertisement from the router 14, the VM(B) 40b sets the router 14 as a default gateway.
