Abstract:
The present invention aims to provide a diamine compound, which is applied to a part of raw materials of a polyamic acid and a derivative thereof used for a liquid crystal aligning agent, thereby capable of obtaining liquid crystal alignment films having high liquid crystal alignment properties, a low volume resistance value, and a good electrical characteristics such as VHR. In the present invention, a diamine having a primary or secondary amino group protected by a group capable of leaving by heat is used as the raw material of the polyamic acid and the derivative thereof.
