Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a runway optimization system that enables many aircrafts to take off and land per unit time irrespective of a form of a runway.SOLUTION: A runway optimization system according to an embodiment is configured to include: a runway occupancy time setting part; and an optimization calculation part. When a plurality of aircrafts takes off and lands using a plurality of runways crossing each other, the runway occupancy time setting part sets a runway occupancy time for each runway of an aircraft of interest in accordance with a runway to be used by a preceding aircraft of the aircraft of interest and a runway to be used by a following aircraft of the aircraft of interest. The optimization calculation part executes an optimization calculation that makes a sum of a plurality of runway occupancy times corresponding to the plurality of aircrafts minimum, and thereby calculates an optimal solution regarding a usage of the plurality of runways by the plurality of aircrafts.
