Abstract:
To provide a safety cabinet for issuing an alarm when exhaust duct connection is applied by an improper method.SOLUTION: A safety cabinet comprises first air cleaning means for exhausting air, second air cleaning means for supplying clean air to a work space, and blowing means. Clean air is supplied to the work space from the second air cleaning means, and air is exhausted from the first air cleaning means. The safety cabinet also has: an opening part for connecting an exhaust duct arranged at a downstream side of the first air cleaning means; pressure detection means or wind volume detection means arranged at a downstream side of the first air cleaning means; a control part for controlling a motion of the blowing means; and an alarm part. The control part determines a connection method of the exhaust duct on the basis of an output of the pressure detection means or the wind volume detection means, and an operation state of the blowing means, and when the connection method of the exhaust duct is improper, the alarm part issues an alarm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
