PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety confirmation lamp system which has safety confirmation lamps disposed on a vehicle for the purpose of ensuring traffic safety for a traversing pedestrian who traverses in front of an automobile or motor cycle, an oncoming vehicle, or the like.SOLUTION: A safety confirmation lamp system that lights safety confirmation lamps R and L, which are disposed on a vehicle body, with high brightness is a method of resolving or preventing uneasiness about whether an oncoming vehicle which heads for a traversing pedestrian can come to a halt or whether the oncoming vehicle may rush, an accident of an oncoming vehicle that turns to the right, and occurrence of an accident at a junction between expressways. The safety confirmation lamps are disposed at ends of a number plate, which attracts attention, so that the safety confirmation lamps can reliably enter a traversing person's field of vision.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
