Abstract:
To provide a scanner device and a printing timing adjustment device, capable of improving the accuracy of a printing position.SOLUTION: In a scanner system 1, a scanner device 2 connected to an option printer device 4 through a conveyance path PT includes medium reading parts 27-1 and 27-2, a brake roller, a scanner control part 31, and a communication part 35. The medium reading parts 27-1 and 27-2 read the image of a medium to be read D conveyed on the conveyance path PT. The brake roller applies a reverse direction load to the medium to be read D conveyed on the conveyance path PT. The scanner control part 31 acquires a printing timing corresponding to whether or not the medium to be read D is in a position to which the reverse direction load is applied from the brake roller. The communication part 35 transmits a printing instruction corresponding to the printing timing acquired by the scanner control part 31 to the option printer device 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
