Abstract:
To provide a scanner that can accurately grasp an emission mode and a deflection mode of pulse light and accurately perform scanning of a scan area, and a distance measuring device.SOLUTION: A scanner has: a light source that emits pulse light; a first light receiving element that receives one part of the pulse light; a deflection element that has an oscillation part oscillating around a first oscillation axis and a second oscillation axis different from the first oscillation axis, and projects the pulse light while deflecting the other part of the pulse light in a directionally variable manner with the oscillation part; a second light receiving element that receives reflected light being the other part of the pulse light reflected on an object; and a deflection element control unit that adjusts a driving signal for at least one oscillation axis of the first oscillation axis and the second oscillation axis based on the timing at which one part of the pulse light is received by the first light receiving element.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
