Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-hung window allowing an easy mounting work, and having a holding member capable of easily changing a spring body or the like.
SOLUTION: An opening is provided above or below a frame body, and a movable sash capable of freely moving vertically is installed for opening and closing the opening. In this case, a holding member 60 is provided inside a jamb to form the frame body, so as to be formed out of a bearing 61 for holding a support shaft at the lower part of the movable sash, a spring body 62 linked to the bearing 61 and used to energize the bearing 61 upward, and a spring case 63 for housing the spring body 62 and at the same time, housing the bearing 61 in such a state as freely pulled down, and used for freely braking the bearing 61 at a prescribed position against the energizing force of the spring body 62.
