Abstract:
A paper machine sieve, consists of at least one single fabric for the paper side, and a single fabric for the running side, which consist of weft fibres (4,6) and chain fibres (1,5). The individual fabrics are joined together using binding fibres (3). The latter pass over the chain fibres at the points where the weft fibres pass underneath.
