Abstract:
To provide a sealing device that prevents the entry of muddy water and the like and easily discharges the muddy water and the like having entered therein, if any, to outside.SOLUTION: A ring-shaped sealing device 10 has a first member 13 that is attached between an outside member 2 and the inner ring member 4 to axially rotate relative to the outside member and is fitted to the inner ring member, and a second member 16 that is disposed opposite the first member and is fitted to the outside member. The first member a slinger 14, and a magnetic encoder 15. The second member has a core metal 17 having a core metal-fitting cylindrical part 170 and a core metal disk part 171, and a seal lip part 18 having an inner periphery covering part 184. Between an inner peripheral surface 184a of the inner periphery covering part and an edge 151a on an outer diameter side of the magnetic encoder, a labyrinth part R having a clearance in communication with space on the outer side is provided. The labyrinth part has a first labyrinth R1, a second labyrinth R2, and a third labyrinth R3. The inner periphery covering part is provided inclined by 2° or more with respect to the axial direction so as to widen in diameter toward the outer side space.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
