Abstract:

To provide a seat frame for a motor cycle, the seat frame being composed of a plurality of aluminum components manufactured by methods different from one another.SOLUTION: In a seat frame (SF), a front member (S1) located at a vehicle body front side, an intermediate member (S2) joined to a rear part of the front member (S1), and a rear member (S3) joined to a rear part of the intermediate member (S2) are individually composed of aluminum members in respective manufacturing methods different from one another. The rear member (S3) is a one-piece molding component obtained by a gravity casting method. The rear member (S3) comprises: a pair of rail parts (71), left and right; a front cross-part (72) extending in a vehicle width direction at a vehicle body front side and coupling the left and right rail parts (71); a rear cross part (73) extending in the vehicle width direction at a vehicle body rear side and coupling the left and right rail part (71); and a plurality of mounting bosses (80-87) for mounting other components. Mounting parts (90, 91) for joining the rear end part of the intermediate member (S2) are provided at respective ends, at a vehicle body front side, of the left and right rail parts (71).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
