Abstract:
To provide a base-isolated building with high resistance to overturning moment that acts on the base of the building during an earthquake.SOLUTION: A base-isolated building 1 has a lower structure 10 and an upper structure 20 via a base-isolated device 50. At least one raised corner C forming the upper structure 20 is composed of a wall or sheath material 24.
