Title:
The selenium production method from a copper electrolysis slime
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP6032496
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for production of selenium from an electrolytic slime which is a method of recovering low-sulfur content high-purity selenium by preventing sulfur contamination into the selenium collected from the electrolytic slime.SOLUTION: A method for producing selenium from a copper electrolytic slime comprises: preparing a leachate including at least gold, platinoid elements and selenium in terms of ions by chlorine-leaching the slurry of the copper electrolytic slime; extracting the gold in the leachate into an organic solvent by contacting the leachate with the organic solvent using an organic solvent method; making the included platinoid elements adsorb on an anion-exchange resin by contacting an extraction residual liquid being the leachate after gold extraction with the above resin; and recovering selenium by blowing sulfur dioxide gas which generates in a copper smelting furnace and a converter and is fed through a steel pipe in the adsorption residual liquid being the extraction residual liquid after adsorption, and reducing an included selenium ion. The sulfur dioxide gas is filtered using a filter having an opening of 10-70 μm before the sulfur dioxide gas is blown in the adsorption residual liquid.
