Abstract:
To provide a self-propelled vacuum cleaner identifying a dimension of a cleaning object area, and stopping when a setting condition is not satisfied.SOLUTION: A control unit 80 of a self-propelled vacuum cleaner 10 controls movement means and cleaning means so as to perform a first step in which a body moves from an initial position to a cleaning reference position, and a second step in which the body cleans a cleaning object area while moving from the cleaning reference position. The control unit 80 has abnormal distance detection means for detecting an abnormal distance which does not satisfy a condition of a previously set travel distance, and the control unit 80 stops the movement means when the abnormal distance detection means detects an abnormal distance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 27
