PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor device which enables a cover to be easily removed from a support, and to provide a lighting device, a removal jig, and a removal method.SOLUTION: A sensor device 1 includes: a synthetic resin made case 4 including a support 2 and a cover 3; and a substrate 5 stored in the case 4. The support 2 has: a rectangular facing part 21; and a first side wall part 22 and a second side wall part 23 protruding from two facing sides of the facing part 21. The cover 3 has: a rectangular bottom surface part 31; and a first side surface part 32 and a second side surface part 33 protruding from two facing sides of the bottom surface part 31. The second side wall part 23 has a release part 233. The release part 233 is configured to cause a force, which acts in a direction such that the force expands a gap between the second side wall part 23 and the second side surface part 33 so as to disengage a second projection from a second hooking part 232, to act on at least one of the second side wall part 23 and the second side surface part 33.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
