Title:
A separation method of the precious metals and sulfate impurities
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP5950103
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method in which, when noble metal included in anode slime or the like is separated from impurities such as lead sulfate and barium sulfate by dry treatment, capable of treatment at a heating temperature lower than that in the conventional method, and in which the time of slagging is short and working efficiency is remarkably improved.SOLUTION: The method for separating noble metal from sulfate impurities is characterized in that, regarding a noble metal-containing raw material containing noble metal and sulfate impurities having a high melting point, a sulfate additive reacted with the sulfate impurities to form a molten sulfate having a low melting point is added to the raw material, heating is performed thereto, the sulfate impurities in the raw material and the sulfate additive are reacted to produce the molten sulfate, and the molten sulfate and the noble metal are separated in accordance with a specific gravity difference.
