Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate yttrium and zinc efficiently.SOLUTION: A separation method of yttrium and zinc for separating yttrium and zinc from a nickel sulfate solution containing yttrium and zinc by solvent extraction, is provided. When solvent extraction is performed, a flow ratio of an extractant and the nickel sulfate solution is adjusted, so that a concentration of yttrium in the extractant is made low, and thereby zinc is also extracted into the extractant.
