Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for forming an electrochemical element of good productivity excellent in high-temperature storage characteristics, charge and discharge cycle characteristics and load characteristics, and to provide a method for manufacturing the electrochemical element.SOLUTION: A separator for electrochemical element has a resin porous layer (I) mainly composed of a heat-fusible resin (A) having a melting point of 100-170°C, and a heatproof porous layer (II) mainly composed of an electrically insulating filler having a heatproof temperature of 150°C or more, and formed by binding the filler with a binder resin (B). At least on one surface, an adhesive resin (C) developing adhesiveness to an electrode by hot press exists. The adhesive resin (C) uses fluid dispersion containing fine particles of a specific kind of resin, and the basis weight of the adhesive resin (C) on the surface is 0.1-1.5 g/m. The method for manufacturing the electrochemical element has a step of integrating the separator and the electrode.SELECTED DRAWING: None
