Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in an Ether Ring Protection (ERP) network that since ERP control information is set in each node, a burden is imposed on maintenance personnel who make settings, and that the larger the network size becomes, the greater the number of nodes, and the burden on maintenance personnel increases.SOLUTION: Provided is an ERP network setting system characterized in that a plurality of nodes are included, of which a Ring Protection Link (RPL) owner node writes ERP setting information set in itself into a Ring-Automatic Protection Switching (R-APS) packet and distributes the R-APS packet having had the ERP setting information written therein to all of non-RPL owner nodes in an ERP network, and all of the non-RPL owner nodes set the distributed ERP setting information in themselves.
