Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that troubles, such as occurrence of large noise and non-smooth operation, occur when a driving force is transmitted from a driving part of a body unit to an additional unit through multiple gears in a sheet transfer device having the body unit and the additional unit.SOLUTION: A body unit of the sheet transfer device includes: a main driving gear and a driving part. An additional unit includes: a housing; a housing part provided in the housing; a supply roller; a driven gear which is placed in a position so as to engage with the main driving gear in a state where the additional unit is attached to the body unit; a first pulley; a second pulley; a belt annularly spanned between at least the first pulley and the second pulley; a third pulley which is provided so as to rotate with the driven gear and contacts with an outer peripheral surface of the belt; and a transmission part which transmits a rotary force of the first pulley to the supply roller.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
