Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveyance apparatus, an image processing apparatus, and a sheet conveyance method, which can prevent a document placed on a sheet placing part from being conveyed obliquely and prevent a sheet size from being determined to be a size different from the size intended by a user.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus comprises a sheet placing part, and a guide member for restricting a position of a sheet in a width direction, which is placed on the sheet placing part. The image processing apparatus acquires an electric signal corresponding to the position of the guide member in the sheet placing part (S12), and notifies a user of separation between the sheet placed on the sheet placing part and the guide member when a difference between a value of the acquired electric signal and a threshold value for determining a sheet size set in advance based on length in the width direction for each sheet size is equal to or less than a predetermined reference value (S14).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
