Abstract:
To reduce occurrence of a loading failure of ejected sheet due to uplifting of a document in a long document with a crease.SOLUTION: A sheet conveying device includes: a device body; an ejection port for ejecting a conveyed sheet; a paper ejection tray on which a document ejected from the ejection port is loaded; and document holding means installed opposite to the paper ejection tray while the ejection port is interposed therebetween and holding an ejected document. The paper ejection tray includes: a first loading surface located upstream in a sheet conveyance direction; and a second loading surface located downstream from a downstream end of the first loading surface and positioned downward in a vertical direction from the downstream end of the first loading surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
