PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing method capable of suppressing deterioration of durability of a creasing unit.SOLUTION: In a sheet processing method, the number of sheets to which a folding line is formed by stacking the sheets on the basis of sheet characteristics so that stiffness of a sheet bundle obtained by stacking the sheets becomes larger than predetermined stiffness, and the folding line is collectively formed onto the determined number of the sheets.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
