PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which a sheet that has been subjected to folding processing swells over time and is hard to handle.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device includes: a first binding part that can execute folding processing to a sheet and binds a sheet bundle using a binding member; and a second binding part for binding a sheet bundle without using the binding member. The sheet processing device can set an opening regulation mode for regulating a sheet that has been subjected to folding processing from opening and make second binding means conduct bind processing for regulating the sheet that has been subjected to folding processing from opening in accordance with setting the opening regulation mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
