Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2016101619
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect that an upper part of a mountain of chips reaches a predetermined height position when executing processing of generating the chips.SOLUTION: A paper processing unit comprises a cutting part (cutting sandwiching parts 352 and 353 and a cutting blade 354) for executing cutting processing for cutting a header end part of a center-bound booklet, a storage part 357 for storing chips D generated by being cut by the cutting part under the cutting part, a detection part 358 for detecting the presence of the chips D in a predetermined height position, and a paper processing control part 505 that makes the cutting part execute the cutting processing to the succeeding center-bound booklet when the presence of the chips D are detected by the detection part 358, and determines that the upper part of a mountain of the chips D stored in the storage part 357 reaches the predetermined height position when the chips D are still detected by the detection part 358 even after the cutting processing to the succeeding center-bound booklet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
