Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing device including a plurality of binding parts having mutually-different bindable numbers which improves the productivity of binding processing.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device comprises: a first binding part which binds a sheet bundle; a second binding part which has the larger bindable number than that of the first binding part; and a number determination part which determines whether or not the binding number exceeds the bindable number of the first binding part. The first binding part retreats from the binding position when the number determination part determines that the binding number exceeds the bindable number after moving to the binding position. The second binding part moves to the binding position when the number determination part determines that the binding number exceeds the bindable number.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 18
