Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deviation of binding position of a sheet in a case where a binding process is made under a condition in which the sheet is supported by two support parts.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device includes a saddle riding part 321 in which a sheet in a mountain-like form with a crease being formed is saddle-ridden, for supporting from below, a staple driving part 325 for driving a staple to a sheet that is supported by the saddle riding part 321, a push-out part 322 for pushing out the sheet from the saddle riding part 321 by pushing a rear end part in transportation direction of the sheet supported by the saddle riding part the part 321 toward a crease part, and a moving saddle 332 which supports, from below, the sheet being pushed out from the saddle riding part 321 by the push-out part 322. The moving saddle 332, when driving a binding staple at the staple driving part 325, only supports a front end part in transportation direction of the sheet having been pushed out from the saddle riding part 321.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
