PURPOSE: To raise delivery efficiency, ensure high vacuum and reduce abrasion of a valve body and the like mainly by providing a reciprocating piston in a cylinder, a slide separating valve in the upper side of the discharge direction of the piston and drive means of a particular structure for driving the piston and the valve.
CONSTITUTION: A separating pump 10 has a longitudinal case 12 arranged at an end of a discharge cylinder 17, and a hydraulically driven discharge piston 19 is received therein. A valve body 22 is arranged in a supply passage from a discharge opening 16 formed by a cylindrical portion 14 toward an opening 18 of a flange 20. The valve body 22 is slid with the cylindrical portion 14 by an arcuate knife edge 26 of a chamfered surface 24. The valve body 22 is connected to a fork 22 of a drive rod 34 with play. A space 38 in the case 12 receiving the drive rod 34 also receives a cylindrical guide sleep bolt 40 arranged with a sliding space apart from the surface of the valve body 22 opposite the cylindrical portion 14.
